This system has been programmed by your neighbor Kevin Barr, living in Edgewood Grove. I apologize for the confusion a site called
Thunderbolt Procurement might cause, but it is the programming site I had available on short notice.

Beginning last summer there were rumors and pictures (see above pictures) indicating that the Superintendent Robert Haworth and the
Vigo County School Board Members might be considering developing residential housing in the current Meadows School field.

There are four things that we can all do to oppose the residential home development of Meadows School field:

(1) Sign the electronic petition below, which will be emailed to the Superintendent and the Vigo County School Board Members each
time we have 25 new people to sign the petition below.

(2) Write Dr. Haworth and the Vigo County School Board Members.

Dear Superintendent Robert Haworth and the Vigo County School Board Members,

It is now known that the VCSC submitted a READI Grant proposal for 100 housing units to be built in the Meadows School field and there are
pictures indicating that Superintendent Robert Haworth and the Vigo County School Board Members are considering developing residential
housing in the current Meadows School field.

Provided that the VCSC apparently is considering a housing development in the Meadows School field, we wish to hereby register our objection.

There are now (XXX) citizens who have signed this electronic petition indicating their opposition to the residential development of
the Meadows School Field by the Vigo County School Corporation.

We live on the city's east side and/or we recognize the importance and significance, to Terre Haute, of the vast green area known as the Meadows
School Field. We strongly oppose any development of the Meadows School Field, for the following reasons:

* The development of the wide open field will diminish the value and quality of the City's Eastside and the Ohio Boulevard-Deming Park
Historical District - a community asset.

* Over population will exacerbate existing traffic problems in the area as the traffic has already become terrible on Brown Avenue following
its improvement and extension past the Stadium.

* The field is a wonderful place. The area serves as a significant recreational area for walking, running, biking, flying kites, flying model airplanes,
football, basketball, baseball, hovercraft, rocket launches, drone flying, kids catching butterflies, golfers practicing their swing and finally a guy
playing bagpipes has been witnessed (his wife must have kicked him out of the house).

* Home values will decline with the increased traffic and with the increase in noise.

* It boils down to a fundamental question of what we value as a community and a neighborhood. We prefer green space and a nice rare open
environment where the citizens of Terre Haute can go to experience the many activities that have been occurring in Meadows School field throughout
many, many generations.

Please do not develop, or change, the Meadows School field.
